We're taking the first cable car up on Friday morning to scatter Andrew's ashes together. Afterwards we'll go back to 36B, his home in Cape Town, for the afternoon. Come for all of it, or just the part that suits you.

Cableway tickets
Please buy your own return ticket before the day, from Webtickets or tablemountain.net. The Cableway doesn't accept tickets bought on other sites.
You can also buy at the counter on the morning. If you do, be at the Lower Cable Station by 7:30. The group goes up on the 8:00 car and we can't hold it.
We're scattering under a permit from Table Mountain National Park, and they're strict about it. We go up together on the first car, stay at the agreed spot and times, and keep it low-key around other visitors. Please be on time.
If wind closes the cableway
This happens fairly often in November. Check tablemountain.net early that morning. We'll post in the WhatsApp group too.
If it's closed, we won't go up. Come to the house at 12:00 instead.

Tafelberg Road, Cape TownEveryone makes their own way. Parking on Tafelberg Road fills up early, so Uber is easiest.
What to bring
It's colder and windier on top than in town, especially early, so bring a warm layer and wear shoes you can walk in. Sunscreen, a hat and water are worth having too.
